The Best Kinds of Rugs to Have with Pets

We all love our four legged friends. Dogs and cats alike, they are always there to give us a warm welcome!

But when it comes to your home, you want to make sure that they don't mess up your home in a major way! They could scratch, rip and tear anything up, or even get sick on a brand new rug. So what the best rug to make sure none of this happens to you and your furry friend?

Answer: Polypropylene (synthetic fiber)

In polypropylene fibers, versus wool, the color goes all the way through the yarn. This means that if you spill something on it, or your pet has an accident, it will be fairly easy to get it all cleaned out.

These rugs also don't shed like wool ones do either. This is good because wool rugs tend to add to the vacuuming. Cat and dogs both love to dig their claws in wool rugs as well.

Finally, these rugs are better because they are typically less expensive than a wool rug so if anything ever DOES happen to your rug it won't be the end of the world and you won't have the pet to blame.
